Before lighting your candle carefully snip the top off the wick and discard. We recommend that you always trim the carbon build up off of the wick each and every time you light your Legacy Rose Candle.
Why should you trim your wick?
I'm glad you asked. It's important for so many reasons!
- Clean burn: Limit dark smoke
- Clean container: Limit black residue on candle jars
- Better fragrance diffusion: Enhanced scent diffusion while candle is burning
- Burn safely: A longer wick creates a higher flame which can be dangerous
- Prevent candle mushrooming: Remove the build-up of carbon
Clean wick trimmer with soap and water after each use.
